This body of work focuses on leading viewers to relate to the abstraction, sensuality, and tenderness of the imagery on an intuitive level. The work is meant to draw attention to the connectivity of lines, forms, and textures that are repeated throughout our bodies and the natural world around us, aspects that inextricably link us all. I was attempting to explore this idea through the nude figure in relation to the lines and shapes of the landscape, but found this new avenue much more fulfilling.
